First Time Blogging
Hi everyone! After hearing about blogs for years I've finally created one of my own. I have a husband, 4 year old daughter and two dogs. My dogs are half dachshund and half chihuahua so we refer to them as the dachhuahuas. Stay tuned to my weekly posts!

It is also my first time blogging, but I thought this sounded fun! My son is all about Mommy these days, so the following story should not have surprised me. He decided that he was going to wear daddy's shoes around the house. He then grabbed my purse off of the table and said, "I am going to drive the red car downtown." He proceeded to go over to the back door and looked back at me, with my cell phone on his shoulder, and said, "Oh, I need keys." He then went back to the table to find the keys, then proceeded to try to open the door so he could drive off in the car. For 2 years old it is quite the replica of what Mommy does when we get in the car and go somewhere.
I wonder if the same story would have happened 20 years or more ago. I don't remember my Mom taking us lots of places when she stayed home with us because we did not have the money. In a world where people have to have 2 incomes to be financially comfortable and 2 cars so they can both run to different places everyday, it brings up the question of do we really know the difference between wants and needs or have we started to see our wants as our needs overtime?
