Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone. While everyone is enjoying the long weekend, please take a few moments to remember those who have died while in the service of our country. May the families of those lost be in our thoughts and prayers.

My 'prim and proper' daughter's crude behavior

I'm usually not a fan of toilet humor, but it seems to be inevitable with young children. Recently my mother was reading my daughter an adaptation of the story The Three Little Pigs in which the pigs pelt the attacking wolf with fruit. As they did this they all yelled in unison "Bombs Away!"

We were at the end of potty training and the next time my daughter was in the restroom my daughter yelled "Bombs Away" followed by the toilet flushing. How did my frilly dress wearing daughter come up with this? She sure didn't get it from me.

Hi everyone! After hearing about blogs for years I've finally created one of my own. I have a husband, 4 year old daughter and two dogs. My dogs are half dachshund and half chihuahua so we refer to them as the dachhuahuas. Stay tuned to my weekly posts!
